Where an invoicing package used to be just an appendix to the accounting package, this has now changed completely.
From 2026, invoices must be sent electronically to the PEPPOL network according to an international standard for electronic data exchange.

This means that it is no longer possible to draw up an invoice with a word processor or a simple invoicing program, print it out in PDF and send it by email.

The package also notifies by email that a purchase e-invoice has been received and can be consulted.
Users of the accounting package also have automatically access to the invoicing package.
But because not every user of the invoicing package needs an accounting package, it is now also possible to choose only the 'invoicing package' component with the e-invoicing of Peppol included.
